Welcome to Only Know Courage Productions. Founded by independent filmmaker Tyhiem Lopez, this studio was born out of the ultimate creative gamble. When a traditional film program fell short on its promises and institutional support vanished for a student pouring everything into the craft, our founder invested his last remaining dollars into a single Sony FX30 Cinema Line camera and chose to build his own path. Today, that unyielding drive has evolved into a fully self-contained, turnkey production house. Backed by industry-credited experience on independent sets like The Listeners and The Walls, Only Know Courage operates with dedicated internal departments—including a complete Grips & Electric (G&E) crew, a professional sound department with dedicated boom operators and mixers, and full camera packages driven by our Director of Photography and Camera Operators. By owning 100% of our cinema cameras, high-end lighting setups, and multi-channel audio gear, we have entirely eliminated third-party middlemen and rental houses. This allows us to guarantee uncompromising, movie-grade production value with unmatched efficiency. We don't just execute shoots. We operate a full-scale creative machine built to bring your story to life.
